Revija za sociologiju (Sociological Review) publishes theoretical, empirical, and methodological articles in sociology and related disciplines. The journal also publishes translations, book reviews, review essays, brief polemical contributions for the “Forum” section, and other contributions of scientific and professional interest. Published three times per year.

Revija za sociologiju published articles that meet the general criteria of academic significance and scientific excellence. All manuscripts are subject to double-blind peer review. Articles are published in Croatian or English. Under certain circumstances, the editors can decide to publish articles in other languages.

This is an open access journal. In accordance with the BOAI definition of open access, this means that all content is freely available without charge to the user. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. Revija za sociologiju applies the CC BY license.

Revija za sociologiju charges no article submission, processing, or publication fees to authors. All processing and publishing related expenses are covered by the publisher. The author (or authors) is the copyright holder and retains all publishing rights. By giving consent for publication, authors delegate the right of first publication in print and in electronic format to the journal.

In regulation of the standards of ethical conduct and relations of all parties involved in the publication process (authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher), Revija za sociologiju adheres to the Committee on Publication Ethics’s (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors (http://publicationethics.org/files/u2/Best_Practice.pdf).
