The crisis with the pandemic encouraged us to strengthen the activities of public sociology, a concept introduced by Michael Burawoy, to participate to a greater extent in the social public space through the popularization of sociological knowledge and perspectives.

Through the section Sociology from Isolation , we have provided a series of popular scientific texts by sociologists who will speak through their personal author's manuscript about those topics they know something about, and about which they care as members of this society and people who are also in this crisis.
