The National Congress of the HSD was held in the Old City Hall in Zagreb with the topic ‘Private, public, common: Sociology and Croatian society today’, where two plenary sessions, two round tables and six parallel sessions were held.<\/p>\n

June 1 and 2, 2012<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Annual Conference of the Croatian Sociological Society in 2012 was held at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Zagreb, primarily dedicated to presenting activities, results of individual empirical research, theoretically oriented works and articulation of central interests at the core of HSD sections.<\/p>\n

April 7 and 8, 2011<\/strong><\/p>\n

The National Congress of the Croatian Sociological Society entitled “Sociology and Change – Challenges of the Future” was held in the premises of the Old City Hall of the City of Zagreb in Zagreb.<\/p>\n

November 19 – 21, 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

An international conference “Qualitative Transitions: Issues of Methodology in Central and South-East European Sociologies” was held, organized with the support of the International Sociological Association. The academic committee included: Inga Tomi\u0107-Koludrovi\u0107, president of the committee and the Croatian Sociological Society; Michael Buroway, President of the International Sociological Society (ISA); Krzysztof Konecki, President of the Qualitative Methodology Section of the European Sociological Association (ESA); Giampietro Gobo, founder of the section for qualitative methodology of the European Sociological Society and professor at the University of Milan, and Nenad Fanuko (University of Rijeka) and Katharina Scherke (University of Graz).<\/p>\n

April 3 and 4, 2009<\/strong><\/p>\n

The National Sociological Congress was held in Zagreb with the topic “Social Change and Social Structure: Croatia 20 Years Later”.<\/p>\n

November 7, 2008<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Scientific Conference “Institutional Academic Study of Sociology” in Zadar and the Round Table in Honor of Esad \u0106imi\u0107 were held in Zadar.<\/p>\n

September 12, 2008<\/strong><\/p>\n

In co-organization with the Faculty of Law, University of Split, an international scientific conference was held in Split: “Sociology of Sr\u0111an Vrcan: Ideologies and Theories”.<\/p>\n

May 8 – 10, 2008<\/strong><\/p>\n

An international conference was held in Zadar, with the support of the International Sociological Association (ISA) and the Department of Sociology, University of Zadar, entitled “Sociology and Interdisciplinarity: Central and Southeast European Perspectives”.<\/p>\n

March 30 and 31, 2007<\/strong><\/p>\n

In co-organization with the Department of Sociology of the Faculty of Philosophy in Split, the National Sociological Congress was held in Split: “Methodological Challenges in Sociology: Social Problems in Croatia”.<\/p>\n

The co-organizers of the conference are the Christian Present, the Christian Academic Circle, the Center for the Promotion of the Social Science of the Church and the Catholic Theological Faculty in Zagreb. It is an interdisciplinary gathering at which the sociological, religious and theological aspects of the work of \u017d. Marde\u0161i\u0107.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 in Zagreb, in the Chromos Tower – Ulica grada Vukovara 271.<\/p>\n
